Electricians
Requirements and Experiences:
- Certification as industrial or construction electrician is a requirement (Experienced apprentice can be considered in some cases)
- Must have excellent English skills – oral and written
- Successful applicant to have a minimum of 3 experience in control panel building, PLC system wiring, industrial machine systems wiring
- Experience with shop tooling handling and abilities to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience and abilities to work and understand hydraulic and pneumatic system assembly
- Abilities to layout and building panels and proper wiring methods
- Understanding of Canadian Electrical Code requirements and its applications
- Successful candidates should be enthusiastic about new technology, capable of working independently with minimal supervision and should be comfortable with heavy machinery control systems
- Although regular work day weeks are the base work schedule, willingness to work occasional shift work and overtime if necessary
- Basic CAD skills and PLC program troubleshooting abilities would be an asset but not a requirement
